I took this photo of my nephew looking at his cousin during his first birthday party. I wanted to share it for a few reasons: Partly just because it’s a nice family photo and I wanted to show them off. But honestly, I don’t do much photography so I was proud I captured that moment. Kids move around constantly, so grabbing that second where they were actually making eye contact was a big win. And it’s the type of photo I think they will grow up and look back on.
