Growing up we used to listen to Les Miserables while driving in the car as a family. And I have a many year late confession to make: In the show they sing the line, “the blood of the martyrs will water the meadows of France.” But for the longest time I thought they were saying, “the blood of the martyrs will water the medals of friends.” So I just wanted to retroactively stick up for myself by saying A.) it still sounds like that if you listen for it, and B.) my line still totally makes sense.
